DESCRIPTION:

Manual BAR SCREEN is used for manual cleaning and is ideal for the coarse filtration at the inlet of waste water treatment plants or outlet of food industry. It consists of a stainless steel frame fixed to the wall with a central screenings area. The frame is installed in the channel with an inclination angle (usually 75°); wastewater passes through filtration area (bars) and screenings are captured. Through a rake, used manually, the screenings are removed of the filtration area and moves them to the discharge chute.

The advantage of this solution is a high life time due to low mechanical components.

DESCRIPTION:

The RAKE SCREEN meets the need to have a separation of the coarse screenings from wastewater, whether civil or industrial. The machine is composed by a screen with a spacing which can vary from 6 to 40 mm. The screenings are lifted, transported and discharged using rakes, that are also suitable for cleaning the filtration area. Rakes are guided by rails at the bottom without any bearings/mechanical components submerged by the raw water.

DESCRIPTION:

STEP is a mechanically cleaned screen ideal for headworks and water inlet structures. It consists of a stainless steel frame provided with a filtration area composed by fix and mobile lamellas. The distance between fix and mobile lamellas represents the screen meshes section. The frame is installed in the channel with an inclination angle usually 55° wastewater passes through filtration area (lamellas) and screenings are captured and lifted up by a chain. Screenings are removed from the filtration area and discharged.

DESCRIPTION:

A sluice gate or a slide gate is a custom manufactured product and its correct selection is dependent on numerous variables. As a result, most users find it very difficult to arrive at the correct configuration (Technically and Economically) of the sluice gate / slide gate that they require for a particular application.
The type of gate to be used and features required to be incorporated in a gate varies from location to location in the same plant. To arrive at the final configuration of the gate to be used, follow the procedure as given hereunder:

DESCRIPTION:

GRIT is used to remove grit from water. These separators consist of a shaft less screw conveyor provided with a big sedimentation hopper, including inlet/outlet flanged spouts. Effluent flows through the hopper, that is designed specifically to allow the sedimentation process while the grit separation takes place.

The shaft less screw extracts the grits from the hopper's bottom, while the cleaned water outflow trough the outlet spout. The water enters the hopper and the sand falls on the bottom, to then be extracted from the cochlea that, by rotating at low speed, avoiding turbulence and increases the efficiency of the process.

Grit removal is critical for efficient plant operation. Wastewater containing grit can increase operating costs, downtime and maintenance resources, as well as leading to unnecessary maintenance and permit compliance issues.

The Detritor Grit Removal system is a cross flow grit system that utilises a collector arm to move settled grit into a vessel for collection. It provides reliable removal of abrasive, heavy and insoluble inorganic grit, which can accumulate in municipal wastewater treatment plants.

Sludge Dewatering Machine reduces the sludge volume and mass by re- moval of sludge water from interstices between sludge particles. The sludge cake so produced, has moisture content of about 15-25%. Main purpose of this machine is to minimize sludge handling and its disposal. It is the most cost effective and time saving method for sludge handling. Sludge Dewatering is achieved by passingthe polymer enriched slurry into the dewatering chamber, wherein, the slurry get compressed by a screw inside the compression cylinder. At the outlet we get the cake which can be further reduced in volume with the help of a dryer.

A clarifier is generally used to remove solid particulates or suspended solids from liquid for clarification and (or) thickening. Concentrated impurities, discharged from the bottom of the tank are known as sludge, while the particles that float to the surface of the liquid are called scum.

Clariflocculator is a combination of flocculation and clarification in a single tank. It has two concentric tanks where inner tank serves as a flocculation basin and the outer tank serves as a clarifier.

The decanter is a key piece of equipment within a sequencing batch reactor (SBR) system, removing clarified effluent from the basin during the decant phase of the operational cycle. SBR tank carries out the functions of equalization, aeration and sedimentation in a time sequence rather than in the conventional space sequence of continuous-flow systems..in SBR,all related processes of Aeration, Settling, Decanting are carried out in same reactor which reduces construction cost against conventional system. The most important component of SBR process is decanting system. Decanter is a key component of SBR process, it withdraws the treated effluent without disturbing the settled sludge layer. WORKING:

Influent water enters the central draft tube above the recirculation impeller where it is mixed with treatment chemicals & re-circulated sludge. Sludge re-circulation is accomplished by the impeller in a draft tube which acts as a pump.

The mixture of influent water and sludge rises through the draft tube and enters into the flocculation zone. With gentle hydraulic turbulence, the mixture flows from flocculation zone to clarification zone. Part of the water (equivalent to the instantaneous influent flow rate) enters the clarification zone and rises towards the uniform clarified water collector of HRSCC. Settled precipitates (sludge) move continuously along the floor towards central sludge pit by rotating scrappers where it is further concentrated by thickening pickets. Excess sludge that builds up in the central pit is discarded through sludge discharge valve either by manual or automatic operation.
